Just a heads up to you guys on SEBASE. I've heard second hand within my
group that the YCCSA cluster has reliability issues, nodes going down
and dropping jobs unexpectedly. Personally I have not confirmed this,
but before you dive into sharing resources you may want to check that
all is well. I've been out of the loop, but I also believe that YCCSA
are in the process of acquiring some new very high computational
capacity, though last I heard they had not yet decided between them what
form this is to take, or where it is going to be yet (there was talk
about having it off site, though I have a feeling that they decided
against that).
Cheers,
Mark
