Mobile phone and Cloud platform for Vehicle Insurance and Driver Safety

This project aims to replace the in-vehicle telematics box (used by some insurance companies) with the drivers mobile phone, and enhance it with exciting new capabilities. We aim to monitor safe driving in the vehicle, verify the driver and detect incidents and serious accidents in real-time, with the potential to link the phone app to emergency assistance.
