Interests

I am currently a Research Fellow at the Computer Science Department, University of York. I work on the EU H2020 funded project SESAME, where we are developing approaches for the design, deployment and testing of Multi-Robot Systems.

My research interests are on:
- Big Data Analytics
- (Flexible) Model-Driven Engineering
- Systems Safety
- Robotics

Qualifications

In 2011, I started my EngD project titled Type Inference in Flexible Model-driven Engineering supervised by Prof. Richard Paige and Dr. Nicholas Matragkas. In 2010, I attended the MSc course in Software Engineering from the University of York and I graduated with a distinction degree. I hold a 4yrs-BSc (ptychion) in Applied Informatics from the University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki, Greece.

Career

In the past, I've worked on 3 Research projects:
- EU H2020 TYPHON (3yrs project): development of approaches for the design and deployment of heterogeneous database systems and the extraction of analytics.
- Innovate UK SECT-AIR (3yrs project): appliacation of modern software engineering techniques (e.g., Model-driven engineering) for the reduction of cost at timescales in the production of software in the aerospace domain.
- Mobile Health Apps (6 months project): devlopement of a cross-platoform mobile application for the mental health support of university students.
