My research is focused on improving the availability and reliability of complex, business-critical and safety-critical systems. I employ probabilistic reasoning using Bayesian networks in various forms (e.g., dynamic, decision networks) as the primary technique to address the challenges at the component level to capture changes at a granular level, emulating the changes at a high level by propagating them and then predicting potential impact at a system-level. My research also considers the interaction between the componenets, and the effect of changes in one componenet on other componenets.
