CS department's High Integrity Systems Engineering group shortlisted for inaugural Bhattacharyya Award

The department was listed among 11 nominees for its contributions to universities and industries working together.

The Royal Academy of Engineering and Warwick Manufcaturing Group (WMG) at the University of Warwick, this week announced the shortlist for the inaugural Bhattacharyya Award, with the Department of Computer Science's High Integrity Systems Engineering (HISE) group among 11 shortlisted universities. The Bhattacharyya Award recognises how industry and universities can work together. The HISE group has a long history of collaborating with industrial organisations and government partners across a range of sectors to advance the state-of-the-art and the state-of-practice in safety engineering, safety-critical systems, and software engineering. These collaborations extend to a diverse range of industries, including aerospace, automotive, defence, healthcare, maritime, and nuclear. The award is funded by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy. The winner will be announced on 16 September 2021. Find out more about the Bhattacharyya Award.
