York academics win Best Paper Award at the prestigious 24th ACM/IEEE MODELS Conference

The winning paper explores the development of aircraft engine control systems.

Professor Dimitris Kolovos, Justin Cooper, Alfonso De La Vega, Professor Richard Paige, Michael Bennett, Caroline Brown, Beatriz Angelica, Sanchez Pina and Dr Horacio Hoyos Rodriguez have received the Best Paper Award at the Practice and Innovation track of the ACM/IEEE 24th International Conference on Model Driven Engineering Languages and Systems for their paper titled "Model-Based Development of Engine Control Systems: Experiences and Lessons Learnt". The paper reports on the results of an InnovateUK-funded Knowledge Transfer Partnership with Rolls-Royce on using model-based engineering technologies for the development of aircraft engine control systems.
