Inaugural Lecture of Professor Steve King

On the 18 October 2023 at 6pm-7pm in RCH/037 Professor King will be giving his inaugural lecture entitled Tales from the chalk-face: 28 years of teaching Computer Science at York.

Professor Steve King, the first 'teaching Professor' in the Department of Computer Science's 50-year history, reflects on what he has learnt from (and about) students over his career of nearly 30 years as an academic.

There will be a drinks reception from 5pm in the Computer Science Pod.
