AMADEUSAMADEUS
The Amadeus FAR project aims to build a small 3D face recognition/verification unit for ubiquitous computing applications. This requires building the camera itself (projector, optics, image sensor) and adding local layers of functionality into the camera to provide a stand-alone unit. Specifically, these layers will include (i) building of an appropriate 3D graph representation of the face from the raw 3D face image (ii) a graph matcher (iii) AURA technology in the form of its AICP implementation. Thus FAR is both a project in its own right and a demonstrator for the Amadeus AICP technology.
