Final Call for Papers

Note:  Deadlines extended

SemEval-2013 invites papers that describe the SemEval-2013 tasks as well as system description papers of participating systems.  The only accepted formats for submitted papers is PDF. The papers must be submitted no later than April 15, 2013 (23:59 pm UTC-12).

 

Papers should be submitted using the START system:

Papers should follow the NAACL 2013 guidelines:

        http://naacl2013.naacl.org/CFP.aspx

with the exception that :

    paper reviewing will not be blind, so you can include authors' names, affiliations and references in the submitted paper.

 

Referencing SemEval 2013

Please use one of the following to reference SemEval 2013:

Long version:
Proceedings of the 7th International Workshop on Semantic Evaluation (SemEval 2013), in conjunction with the Second Joint Conference on Lexical and Computational Semantics (*SEM 2013)

Short Version:

Additionally, the please note the following restrictions and requirements when writing the paper.

 

SemEval-2013 : Task Description Paper

Paper Title:  The title should start with "SemEval-2013 Task <ID> : <NAME>" and, should be followed by the same <ID> and <NAME> that is listed for your task on the SemEval 2013 task page.

Page Limit: up to 8 pages + 2 pages for references

 

SemEval-2013 : System Description Paper

Paper Title:  The title of your paper should be of the form "<ID> :  <Paper Title>"  where <ID> is the team ID used when registering with SemEval-2013 and <Paper Title> is the title of your paper.

Page Limit:  For each team paper, 4 pages for the first system and 2 extra pages for each additional different system, up to a maximum of 8 pages + 2 pages for references.

Papers should clearly describe the methods used in sufficient detail to ensure it is reproducible.

Papers will be reviewed by other task participants in the same task. We expect that task participants are happy to review papers within the same task.

 

The schedule is very tight and deadlines will be strictly followed.
