SemEval-2012 and *Sem Shared Task -- Final Call for Papers

SemEval-2012 invites papers that describe the SemEval-2012 tasks as well as system description papers of participating systems.  The only accepted formats for submitted papers is PDF. The papers must be submitted no later than April 16, 2012 (23:59 pm UTC-12).

Papers should be submitted using the START system:

Papers should follow the NAACL 2012 guidelines:

with the exception that :

    paper reviewing will not be blind, so you can include authors' names, affiliations and references in the submitted paper.

SemEval-2012 : Task Description Paper

Paper Title:  The title should start with "SemEval-2012 Task : " and, should be followed by the same name that is listed for your task on the SemEval 2012 task page.

Revised Page Limit: up to 8 pages + 2 pages for references


SemEval-2012 : System Description Paper

Paper Title:  The title should start with the team ID followed by ":" .

Page Limit:  For each team paper, 4 pages for the first system and 2 extra pages for each additional different system, up to a maximum of 8 pages + 2 pages for references
Papers should clearly describe the methods used in sufficient detail to ensure it is reproducible.

Papers will be reviewed by other task participants in the same task. We expect that task participants are happy to review papers within the same task.

The extended deadline means that the reviewing schedule is very tight.

*Sem Shared Task :  System Description Paper

Paper Title:  The title should start with the team ID followed by ":" .

Page Limit:  For each team paper, 6 pages for the first system and 2 extra pages for each additional different system, up to a maximum of 8 pages + 2 pages for references

Papers should clearly describe the methods used in sufficient detail to ensure it is reproducible.
