This paper proposes a novel gain time reclaiming framework integrating WCET analysis for object-oriented real-time systems in order to provide greater flexibility and without loss of the predictability and efficiency of the whole system. In this paper we present an approach which demonstrates how to improve the utilisation and overall performance of the whole system by reclaiming gain time at run-time. Our approach shows that integrating WCET with gain time reclaiming not only can provide a more flexible environment to develop object-oriented real-time applications, but it also does not necessarily result in unsafe or unpredictable timing analysis.
