Computer simulation is a useful tool for investigatingmathematical models of human muscle movement. These, in turn, canbe used to help design equipment for sports activities. Onebiomechanics example is the simulation of a high-speed soccerkick. We used an evolutionary algorithm, based on a particle swarmoptimizer, to adjust muscle control parameters for a soccer kick.In this paper we describe our implementation of the soccer kickproject, followed by our successful experiments performed with thesoccer kick. |
