Resilient autonomous systems

Autonomous systems have the potential to improve many aspects of our lives. Before this vision can become a reality we must improve the resilience of the systems: their ability to avoid, withstand, recover from, adapt, and evolve to handle uncertainty, change, and disruptions.

Led by Professor Radu Calinescu, a member of the HISE group and the Assuring Autonomy International Programme, the Trustworthy Autonomous Systems (TAS) Node in Resilience has received funding from the UKRI Trustworthy Autonomous Systems programme. It has been established to improve the socio-technical resilience and trustworthiness of autonomous systems.
