INCoS 2012 aims to discuss the latest advances in intelligent and 
adaptive solutions for social networks and collaborative systems. 
The Software Engineering track focuses on the design, tools, 
architectures, methods and practices behind these complex 
software systems. 

The INCoS 2012 conference is open to industry and academic 
researchers, professionals, practitioners and students and provides  
a suitable venue for presenting recent findings and generate an 
interesting debate. INCoS 2012 is technically supported by IEEE SMC. 




The track is open to original contributions including theory, 
applications or experience reports in the following areas:

Software architectures, frameworks and platforms
Software modeling, specification, design and development
Software Engineering methods and standards
Software Requirements Engineering
Model-driven Software Development
Service Oriented Architectures
Product Line Architectures
Software interoperability and reuse
Software Language Engineering
Ontology-based framework solutions 
Software applications based on Linked Open Data
Optimization methods and applications
Case studies and evaluation
Evaluation of the usability of applications
Quality assurance of systems; empirical methods in software
Testing, verification and validation of software


INCoS 2012 will be held at the Faculty of Automatics and Computer 
Science, POLITEHNICA University of Bucharest, Romania:


Submissions should be prepared according to Conference Proceedings 
Manuscript guidelines: at most eight pages (two column, 
single-spaced) including figures and references, using 10 font size 
and numbering each page. Authors preparing their submissions with 
LaTeX may use the IEEEtran package:

Papers must be submitted no later than *** March 15, 2012 *** and 
electronic submission in PDF is required to the following URL:

Notification of acceptance: April 30, 2012
Camera-Ready Submission:    May 15, 2012
Registration:               May 15, 2012
INCoS main Conference:      September 19 - 21, 2012 


Accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings. 
The INCoS 2012 proceedings will be published by IEEE Conference 
Publishing Service in the form of CD-ROM with ISBN, and will be 
accessible online in IEEE Xplore Digital Library.  

All CPS conference publications are also submitted for indexing to 
EI's Engineering Information Index, Compendex®, (Elsevier), and ISI 
Thomson's Scientific and Technical Proceedings®, ISTP®/ISI 
Proceedings, and Current Contents on Diskette® (ISI Thomson).

Accepted papers at the Tracks of INCoS-2012 will be considered for 
publication in several Special Issues in refereed International 
Journals (to be announced):
