Hi,

What is the precise meaning of a navigable association
end at implementation and runtime level? For example,
if a uni-directional association is from class A to
class B, does that mean the implementation A must
contain a field of type B? Or a runtime object of A
can send a message to an object of B (even through a
local variable which is a reference to the callee)?
Thanks a lot for any clarification.
