Dear all,

I have a question concerning interactions in UML 2.0 and more specific
concerning the UML 2.0 meta model on interactions.
In this meta model it is specified that a lifeline represents a
connectable element and a connectable element represents
a set of instances owned by a containing classifier. However, the meta
class Instancespecification represents an instance
in a modeled system. This meta class is not related to the connectable
element meta class. So I wonder how it is possible, using this meta
model, to represent sequence diagrams as scenario's where the lifelines
represent objects, i.e. instances of a certain class.

Thanks in advance,

Ragnhild
