1st EBR 2003 Doctoral Symposium

INTRODUCTION

The Doctoral Symposium is a forum for Ph.D. students to publicly
discuss their research goals, methods, and results at an early stage in
their research work. The Symposium aims to provide useful guidance for
completion of the dissertation research and initiation of a research
career.

The Symposium and EBR will provide an opportunity for student
participants to interact with established researchers and others in the
wider e-business research community. Participants who present their work
at the Symposium will be offered support in the form of free admission
to the Symposium and to EBR2003. Additional support may be provided
depending on available resources.

The students participating in the Symposium will be required to
make a presentation of their work and foreseen or potential problems to
a panel of experts. This presentation will be followed by a discussion
period with the members of the panel.

Note: Since the Symposium organization will not supply records of
these sessions, participants are encouraged to bring their own recording
device in order to “tape” the discussion period for future analysis.

      · The stage of the research. The Committee will select students
across a range of research stages. Diversity of background, research
topic, and approach.

prepare a submission package consisting of three parts listed below.
Each part must be submitted electronically by the submission deadline.
