Could anybody help me in understanding the semantics of a final state in a state machine. In fact, I am not sure to well understand the following sentence: "When the final state is entered, its containing composite state is completed, which means that it satisfies the completion condition. ..." does it mean that a "CompletionEvent is generated ?" My understanding was this one. If one transition enters a final strate, the containing pseudo state is amlso considered as terminated, and recursively each parent until the top state implying then the terminasison of the entity associated with the statemachine. Can anybody clarify this point, thanks, Sébastien Gérard ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------ Dr. Sébastien Gérard Tel: +33 169 089 057 CEA SACLAY Fax: +33 169 082 082 DRT-LIST/DTSI/SLA/LLSP 91191 Gif-Sur-Yvette e-mail: Sebastien.Gerard@cea.fr France <http://www-leti.cea.fr> http://wooddes.intranet.gr ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------
