Thanks for your answer but I'll go deeper in this subject because I've got good reasons to believe that uml isn't so mature and misses something to become efficient. More and more processes appear and come with esoteric diagrams to adapt to a specific kind of problem (such as a business domain or human difficulty to adopt uml...). Moreover, uml profiles are the next step in the standardization evolution and they will probably introduce or derive concepts and perhaps diagrams... Do you know that iconix has written a process mainly based on a diagram that <<should>> make the modeling easier, giving a softer transition between use cases and classes with their <<robustness diagram>>. So, you're right, these diagrams are not in the standard specifications... Is that enough a reason to forgive it ? I know nothing about the projection diagrams but I'm interested because I'm open-minded and I feel a lack of something in the present version of UML. That's all... JPBG Certia - France
