Hi, I have seen a number of good arguments about OCL in this discussion and yet disagreement. This partly comes from different interpretations of wordings, partly from lack of precision of the meaning of OCL, partly from different viewpoints on the use of OCL. These are technical and social topics: From theory we often know the choices and their implications. There only must a common-sense agreement. Therefore it seems clearly necessary to organize an OCL workshop as soon as possible. The tasks would be: - collect issues that have been/need to be discussed as TOPs - assign people to present stuff on single topics - find a date (2 days) and a venue - ... and some organizers A goal of the workshop could be a chapter-oriented book on OCL, discussing topics to the detail and offering choices on the semantics, as well as on the use and therefore tool support on OCL. Would Munich in March do as a workshop venue? All the best, Bernhard
