Dear pUML, I fully agree with both Andy and Daniel. OCL needs multiple things for now. 1. Its use must be encouraged as much as possible. Usability is the key aspect here. 2. Tools need to become available to support users. As a start we need simple things like: - syntactic checkers - type checkers - code generators Secondly we need more intelligent tools like the ones Daniel has developed: - proofing systems - automatic analysis systems - etc. 3. A well-defined foundation needs to be developed, to support tool builders. I am planning to keep working on these issues in the future. I am also willing to support, help and collaborate with people that are working on the same issues. It is a big job and can only de done by a community of people working together.
