"The kind of skills you can't learn in a textbook"

James Mistry now works for BT as a Software Engineer, having studied on our MSc in Software Engineering. He and BT are now working with us to provide student projects. These new student projects help to give our students some context, and experience of working on a real industrial problem. In this video, he explains how the course he took prepared him for the workplace.

You'll also see Professor Jim Woodcock, who supervised James whilst he was at York, talking about the benefits of the student projects for our current students.
