Interests

Tom's research interests cover the usability aspects of safety-critical systems. He focuses on interactions in human-AI teams and is currently exploring the possible domains of his research, with initial interests drawing on healthcare contexts.

Qualifications

MEng (Hons) Computer Science with Cyber Security (York)

Career

Tom studied as an undergraduate at York with a focus on cyber security, were he was a student rep, chaired the Cyber Security Society, and was later a trustee of the students' union (amongst other things).

He started his career across UK Government technical roles and later worked across consulting advisory in risk and technical change where he supported multinational organisations in implementing new IT systems.
