Interests

Hi, I'm Alfa, a Research Fellow in the Department of Computer Science at the University of York and a member of the Automated Software Research Group at the same university. I'm currently working on Vaultage, a framework to automatically generate peer-to-peer, decentralised applications. I'm also contributing to the Philanthropy project, a collaboration with the Maastrict University, to deliver transparent, traceable cross-blockchain donations.

My research interest is in software engineering, particularly on decentralised systems, model-based software engineering, change-based models, software engineering education, and gamification.

Qualifications

I received my PhD degree in Computer Science from the University of York in 2020 under the supervision of Prof Dimitris Kolovos, Prof Fiona Polack, and Dr Horacio Hoyos Rodriguez. I also hold a master's degree in Information Systems from Institut Teknologi Bandung and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Universitas Diponegoro.

Career

I have 3-year experience working as a software developer in the industry implementing Enterprise Resource Planning systems before changing my career path to academia. I'm also an adjunct lecturer at Kalbis Institute, Indonesia.
