AI safety - what does it mean to you?

Francis Rhys Ward has written a new blog post for the Assuring Autonomy International Programme about AI safety and what it means to two different research communities.

Ward focuses on:

• the assuring autonomy and safety engineering field
• the AI safety and longtermist community.

His post considers the two different viewpoints and how the two research communities could collaborate and benefit from each other’s work, to support the development of safe AI.

Ward is a recent member of the Assuring Autonomy International Programme.
