People with visual or cognitive disabilities may find it easier to read narrow blocks of text. To do this, they may narrow the browser window, sometimes up to a quarter of the screen width. It is important therefore to ensure that the webpage can accommodate this and that any text wraps accordingly.
When specifying the width of elements containing text, avoid using absolute units of measurement (such as pixels (px) or points (pt) in the CSS . Instead, define the width of elements in the CSS using relative units of measurement, such as ems (em) or percentage (%). This will allow the browser to automatically reflow text if the browser window is narrowed.
