(if yes) Is the information conveyed through a variation in presentation also conveyed through text? (TXT03)

Why is this important?

Even when variations in text have been marked up appropriately, it is important to make sure the actual text conveys this information as well. This is to avoid conveying information solely by changes in presentation, which may not be understood by everyone.

How to fix the problem

Whenever a variation in the presentation of text has been defined, check to make sure the actual text also conveys the same information. For example, a webpage in which new entries are marked up in bold could also include the word "new" next to each new entry.
