I didn't know who the culprit was and can't be sure it was nhc. But it was about the same time frame as when I installed nhc. Here's the info on my system, in case this helps: $ nhc98 --version /usr/local/bin/nhc98: v1.0 pre-release 12 (date 991029) [ configured for ix86-Linux by tullsen@HAGGIS.CS.YALE.EDU on 17 Nov 1999 ] I'm running Red Hat Linux Release 6.0. - Mark
