The time profiling libraries are not currently enabled in the default configuration, for slightly tedious reasons to do with Makefile dependencies. You can still do a `make timeprof' by hand, although you make need to help it along a little. > cd IOExtras; /home/kort/pkgs/make/bin/make fromC > /home/kort/project/nhc98-1.0pre17/script/nhc98 -c -d > /home/kort/project/nhc98-1.0pre17/targets/sparc-solaris2/obj/prelude/IOExtras > *.c > gcc: ./*.c: No such file or directory These *.c files are missing in the 1.0pre17 tarfile. > cd src/compiler98; /home/kort/pkgs/make/bin/make CFG=T HC=nhc98 install > /home/kort/project/nhc98-1.0pre17/script/hmake -nhc98 -DDBGTRANS -d > /home/kort/project/nhc98-1.0pre17/targets/sparc-solaris2/obj/compiler98 > Main > IO system error (ENOENT): No such file or directory > Stop - hmake dependency error. This error is caused by a bad implementation of the function Directory.doesFileExist in 1.0pre17. These bugs are fixed in a new pre-release I have just packaged, 1.0pre18. Please try that out instead.
