Applying for study under the Eureca project
This page describes the eligibility requirements and application
procedure.
Who is eligible to apply?
The Eureca Erasmus Mundus project funds students are academic staff
from the
following countries only:

Nepal |
Pakistan |
Sri Lanka |
In addition, there are a number of scholarships reserved for applicants from our partner universities in Asia:
Thus to be eligible you either need to be studying or working in one of the above universities or any other university in India, Nepal, Pakistan or Sri Lanka.
Can I apply for 2008/09 entry?
The application process for 2008/09 entry is now closed.
How to I apply to 2009/10?
The application process for 2009/10 has not started yet. However, all details regarding the application procedure will be made available from our main project web site at:www.mrtc.mdh.se/eureca
What is the selection procedure?
Each Asian partner university ranks all its own applications before sending it to the EU partner universities. These are then selected and ranked by the hosting EU universities based on entry requirements, timing issues, resource issues (eg. space, supervisor), subject matter etc. Each applicant can nominate 3 EU partner universities in the order of preference.
Applications from other universities from India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka are also ranked by a nominated coordinator before being sent to the EU partner universities for final selection.
How many applications have been received so far?
Close to 600 applications were received during the first call for 2009 entry.
