Lecturer (Teaching and Scholarship) in Vision and Graphics - University of York, UK

This is a 2 year, fixed term post in which you will contribute to the teaching of undergraduate computer science, particularly in the areas of computer vision and graphics. York has over 20 years history as a world leading centre for visual computing. This includes world leading research in 3D computer vision, geometry processing, rendering and inverse rendering. At undergraduate level we currently teach fundamental graphics and model-based vision in the second year with advanced third year options in computer vision as well as related areas such as machine learning and AI. In addition, we offer undergraduate projects spanning the full range of topics in graphics and vision. We are in the process rolling out a new undergraduate curriculum so, besides contributing to the teaching of existing modules and project supervision, this role will also include the opportunity to contribute to the development of new modules in vision and graphics.

The role provides an excellent means for aspiring academics to obtain teaching experience to help in securing a permanent faculty position in the future.
