Modelling the human head and eyes for VR/AR eye wearables
The shape of the human head and eyes is highly variable, so how do you make VR/AR eyewear work for everyone? The key first step is to extract important properties that compactly describe eyes and their ear-to-ear surrounding area. We will achieve this by parameterizing mathematical models using the right selection of multi-modal 3D imagery. The main deliverable will be shape modelling software tools for VR/AR eyewear design and we will showcase them on a selection of 10 widely-varying individuals.
