At the time of writing, the social programme is as follows:
Monday 5th September: there will be a number of people arriving on Monday so that they can start early for the doctoral consortium on Tuesday. Something will be arranged so that we can all meet up, but it hasn't been settled yet.
Tuesday 6th September: after the last working session of the day, there will be a guided walk of York led by a professional guide from YorkWalk, starting at 17:30 and lasting about an hour. The guided walk is optional but you've paid for it, might as well come, right? It will end near a suitable establishment, probably the Lamb and Lion Inn; we can refresh ourselves and eat dinner there or elsewhere.
Wednesday 7th September: we shall dine at 7:00 at Melton's Too. The conference dinner is included in the registration fee.
