Interests

I'm mainly interested in the issues around software architecture and design; how we do it and know we've done it well. Mind you, I'm really interested in just about everything, which is a continuing problem.

Career

Returned to full time education in October '07 after > 30 years in industry. I've built submarine cables, designed telephone exchanges, maintained aircraft, controlled air traffic and taught lots and lots of courses, mostly about software design issues and techniques.
