Interests

My main research interests include scheduling and timing analysis, systems engineering including optimisation (design trade-offs), design assurance, component-based engineering and managing emergent behaviour. The work features strong influences from real application issues especially in relation to critical systems.

Career

Four years at BAE SYSTEMS, ten years as a research associate and now a lecturer in real-time systems. Editor of the Elsevier Journal, Microprocessors and Microsystems.
