Compiling nhc98-1.0pre7 with ghc

Hello. When compiling nhc98-1.0pre7 using GHC I have got the following errors: -------------------------------------------------------------- [...] ghc -c -cpp -o /var/tmp/nhc98-1.0pre7/targets/ix86-Linux/obj/hmake/GetDep.o GetDep.hs GetDep.hs:120: Couldn't match `String' against `IOError' Expected type: String Inferred type: IOError In the application `userError ("Can't find module " ++ (filename ++ "\nCheck -P and -I flags.\n"))' In the first argument of `fail', namely `(userError ("Can't find module " ++ (filename ++ "\nCheck -P and -I flags.\n")))' Compilation had errors make[1]: *** [/var/tmp/nhc98-1.0pre7/targets/ix86-Linux/obj/hmake/GetDep.o] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/nhc98-1.0pre7/src/hmake' make: *** [targets/ix86-Linux/hmakeb] Error 2 --------------------------------------------------------------- I have tried GHC 4.02 and GHC 4.04 on a RedHat Linux 6.0 machine. Any help?
