By Car
The city is at the junction of the A19, A59, A64 and A1079 trunk roads. The University is well signposted from the Outer Ring Road, which comprises the A64 and A1237. The department is on the north side of campus on Siwards Way. Find us on Google Maps.
By Air

By Train

By Bus
A frequent (every 8 minutes during the day) bus service (number 4) operates between York railway station and the University. The journey takes about 15 minutes. Timetables for the First York bus company are available on-line.
