The Engineering Doctorate is specifically designed to equip you for a senior role in industry and commerce, or as a route into academic research.

There are several distinctive features over traditional PhDs:

• Your project will be current and relevant to today’s industry
• There is a taught element comprising core and optional modules
• You can apply for the programme at any stage in your career from graduate to experienced

The Engineering Doctorate is suitable for recent graduates in Computer Science or a related discipline. The programme is designed to be of particular benefit to those with industrial experience and may wish to work with thier current employer as their sponsoring organisation.
