June 2011 - EngD Vacancy with ETAS, York recently announced, October 2011 start.

August 2010 - The department of Computer Science will be moving the new purpose built, state-of-the-art building on the Heslington East Campus in September. The next EngD module (TIN) will be delivered in the new teaching facilites in the fantastic new building.

July 2010 - Three exciting opportunities are secured and advertised. Two projects available with Rapita Systems, based in York and another project with BT based in Ipswich. For more information take a look at our vacancies page.

June 2010 - the seventh student joins the course, sponsored by BT.

May 2010 - A new EngD student begins the course, sponsored by SafeEng Ltd.

January 2010 - EngD centre secure studentship with BT to start April 2010. For more information visit our How to Apply page.

October 2009 - 3 new Engd Students begin course, 2 sponsored by Airbus, 1 sponsored by The Salmander Organization.

February 2008 - Funding of £4.1m for the LSCITS EngD component of the Training Programme is approved by EPSRC Review Panel.
