Continuing Professional Development Courses

EngD Core Modules as Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Short Courses

The EngD Centre offers interested professionals the opportunity to attend the core modules on the LSCITS Engineering Doctorate as individual short courses. The aim is to allow individuals to renew, refresh and extend their understanding within specific fields related to large scale complex IT systems.

If you subsequently register for the Engineering Doctorate the credits awarded from your CPD short course(s) will be transferred to the programme.

Fees & Booking

To book a place on one of our CPD courses please refer to the Booking Conditions and complete a Booking Form which should be returned to the Course Administrator. For more information prior booking please contact us.

The CPD course fee for one module is £1395. Fees include all relevant course materials, tuition and examinations and are payable in advance.

Optional Modules as CPD

Some of the optional modules available through the EngD Programme may also be available to attend as CPD short course. Enquiries relating to this should be directed to the relevant University department responsible for the particular optional module(s).
