The Department of
Computer Science at York has a small number of
funded research
studentships which are available to UK, EU and overseas students.
These cover all areas of computer
science and are awarded on a competitive basis. There is no deadline
for applications, but final decisions are usually made in late
June.
If you are interested in persuing research in the CVPR group

Currently, the group consists of some 19 postdoctoral and
postgraduate researchers. The group is based in one of the leading UK
computer science departments as evidenced by its 5* research rating,
its excellent assessment in teaching quality and the recent award of a
Queens Anniversary Medal for higher-education.
