Tom Jackson was a Phd student at the University in the early 1990s,
before moving into industry and later the European Commission
He returned to York in 2002 to manage DAME and then subsequently BROADEN.
He currently also manages parts of the CARMEN project and the JISC iREAD project amongst other duties.
Achievements include a popular primer on Neural Networks.
