Martyn Fletcher

Martyn Fletcher has worked on the DAME and BROADEN projects and currently on the CARMEN project at the University of York, where he has mainly been concerned with requirements capture, software design and UML modelling of the various systems.

He has previously worked in industry on a range of software and hardware projects. This has included working for Marconi
Communications Systems Ltd (as a Systems Engineer - tropospheric  communication systems), Castle Associates Ltd. (Design Engineer - sound level meters), and BAe / BAESystems (Hardware / Software Engineer - avionics systems and avionics test equipment and then Software Research Engineer - distributed operating systems and fault tolerant avionic systems). He was
awarded a BSc in Applied Physics at the University of Hull and an MSc in Integrated Circuit System Design at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology.

He has co-authored various papers whilst in industry and at the University of York.
