USE is a sub-project within the AMADEUS Centre, aimed at development of a highly specified FPGA platform for use within AMADEUS projects.

USE - Virtex-II Ubiquitous System Explorer MainBoard
The board hosts Virtex-II devices up to 6 million 'equivalent' gates, and provides on-board multi-page flash configuration and firmware storage for stand-alone operation. Stackable and tileable features allow larger systems to be assembled. Dram and Sram Expansion boards are currently being produced to add to the system.
