MSc in Information Processing:
Computers and the Man-Machine Interface
Student Fees for 2005 entry
The
standard annual tuition fees for home/EU postgraduate
students is: £3,085
For
overseas
postgraduate students the standard annual tuition fees is : £12,630
Please
note that 'overseas' in this context can refer to domicile not
nationality. EU nationals domiciled outside the EU may be considered
as overseas for fee purposes. If you would like guidance in advance
of making an application, please contact the Graduate Schools Office.
All
tuition fees are payable in full at the beginning of each year of
study. Refunds for periods of absence will not normally be made.
Candidates
are required to provide satisfactory written evidence, for example in
the form of a bank statement, banker's letter or sponsor's letter, to
show that they have adequate funds to meet their tuition fee and
living costs. Admission will not be finalised until this
documentation is received.
Funding
Funding is no longer available from UK government sources for
students on conversion courses (this is the case
for all such courses at all UK universities). Therefore students will
need to fund themselves. We can give advice
on how much you should budget for. Ways in which students on the course
have been funded are via self-funding (including
career development loans) and an employer's bursary or secondment.
